Water testing ALMA antennas
In this photo water is being poured on a European ALMA antenna to make sure it does not reach the receiver cabin. This photo was taken at the Operations Support Facility, at an altitude of 2900 metres in the Chilean Andes. Antennas are assembled here before being moved to the Array Operations Site at 5000 metres altitude.
