Before joining IBM, when I still was at the University, I got some part-time jobs in various IT areas.
From 1986 to 1989 I have worked for some private and public institutions, teaching information technology (basic notions, operating systems, basic application/office packages) and programming languages.
In 1987, with a group of friends, I founded AGORA' Soc.Coop. a r.l., in Ferrara, a small company providing IT services, consultancy, software development and didactic.
During 1988 and 1989, I worked as an AGORA' consultant in collaboration with Thema Informatica, in Ferrara. In this period of time I have developed the graphical user interface of a software application to control a Fax PC-board and a PC banking application for Stock Exchange Technical Analysis (S.E.T.A.).
These applications where all developed in C language and based on a
windowing and graphical library (BjLib) I designed to enhance the capabilities
of the Borland BGI Library .
