This aerial view shows the array from the west (north is on the left). Each one
of the three arms is 250 m long, for a maximum baseline of 437 m. In the array
center area the four huts housing the astrometric siderostat can be seen. The
laboratory containing the fast delay lines (FDL) and the beam combiner is to the
lower left of the array center. The long delay lines (LDL) can be seen extending
north (left) from the east end of the lab. The white dome at the bottom of the
view is the 72 inch Perkins telescope of the Lowell Observatory.
