midas/linux

Dear users,

I use the latest version of Midas under Linux Redhat5.1. Issuing the midas 
command creat/random .....returns the error message: 
"Sorry nag not implemented". The relevant MID_EXE:genran does not seem 
present or unseen. Note: crea/ima ... gauss, poly, expo.. seems to work 
adquately; also creat/random on midas 98NOV for unix works fine as it does 
for VMS.  

Did someone experience the same and/or have an explanation? Thank you.
