   your problem with: outdis/fits tables.cat NAME=INPUT ? .mt
could also come from a different side:
A few weeks ago a user reported a memory leak problem which we traced to
faulty FITS I/O code.
That is fixed now and the corresponding tar file
01FEBpl1.2.tar.gz
is stored on ESO's ftp server.



So, installing pl1.2 might just fix your problem.
