MIDAS 95NOVpl1 for PC/Linux 1.2.13 with ELF format.

Dear MIDAS users,

As from today the official 95NOVpl1.0 release of MIDAS is also
available in binary format for PC/Linux 1.2.13 with the new ELF 
format for executables.

This binary release is available in our anonymous ftp account. 
MIDAS in binary format can be distributed freely and does not
require the signature of an ESO-MIDAS User Agreement.

   - Ftp account: "ftp". Password: <Your mail address>
   - Directory: /midaspub/95NOV/linux_elf       (PC/Linux/1.2.13)	
 
   - Files: README.linux_elf
	    95NOVpl1.tar.z		(All MIDAS on ELF format)
            gui/README.gui
            gui/95NOVpl1_gui.tar.z	(MIDAS GUIs)
	    gui/95NOVpl1_lib.tar.z	(DLL MIDAS shared libs)

95NOVpl1 has also been successfully installed and verified on a
DEC Ultrix/4.3, however this platform is not officially supported,
thus, and due to the lack of shared libraries, there is no binary 
distribution for this platform.
