Dear MIDAS users,

- Our latest release 94NOVpl2.0 has been tested and verified on 
  our VAX/VMS V5.2 system.

- The binary release of 94NOVpl2.0 IBM/AIX 3.2 has been recreated
  to set the read flag on all files,, without such a flag MIDAS may
  not   run for other users. If you have already retrieved it just 
  change it with the command:

	% cd <midas_dir>/94NOV
	% chmod -R o+r .

- A new file containing just a few patches for 94NOV (pl.2.1) is now
  available in our "midas" ftp account:

   - Ftp host: ftphost.hq.eso.org (134.171.40.2)
   - Ftp account: "midas". Password: "????????"
   - Directory: 94NOV/patches_94NOVpl2
   - Files: README.patches_94NOVpl2
            p94NOVpl2.1.tar.Z

  Fixed with this patch:
   - Correction for the feedback option in the CREATE/GUI HELP command
   - Bugs fixed in the ECHELLE context.
