Title: Satellite populations in galaxy formation simulations

Abstract:
We will present recent advances on modeling satellites in galaxy formation models of low 
resolution, where many of the processes satellite galaxies are subject to are modeled 
analytically.  This includes accurate orbits within the potential of the central galaxies, and the 
effects of ram pressure and tidal stripping and dynamical friction, and the associated effects 
from these processes on the properties of the satellites and central galaxies.
