Title: Locating Dark Matter with MilkyWay@home

Abstract:
MilkyWay@home is a 0.5 PetaFLOPS volunteer computing platform that optimizes the 
parameters in a model, given a set of data and a method for measuring goodness of fit of the 
data to the model.  We have used to find the density distribution of stars in tidal streams, and in 
particular the Sgr dwarf tidal stream.  We are building the infrastructure to measure the 
distribution of dark matter in the Milky Way by comparing n-body simulations to actual tidal 
debris in the halo.
