Title: Satellites in MW-like Hosts: Accretion history and Pairs Abstract: Using cosmological dark matter simulations we study in detail the accretion history of subhalos in MW-like hosts. We identify subhalos accreted through filaments, and we found they have longer lifetimes when compared with all subhalos at fixed masses. In addition, following Gonzalez et al. 2013 results, we explore the orbits of bound subhalos pairs, their stability, life times and comparison with dynamical friction times. Results indicate if the Magellanic Clouds are a bound pair, then there is a 90% chance they where accreted in the last 3.8Gyr and 50% in the last 1.6Gyr, supporting a first infall scenario for the MCs.
