Title: Microbial Iron Oxidation in High Salt: Implications for Martian Habitat Investigation.

Abstract: This presentation describes modifications to the iron oxidizing, electron transfer protein rusticyanin  that we suggest 
promotes its activity  in high salt, acidic environments. Understanding this unusual phenomenon is important for developing models 
of the early evolution of life on earth and possible life on Mars and other high salt planetary/moon environments.
