Title: Initial Size Distribution of the Galactic Globular Cluster System Unlike the initial mass function (MF), the initial size distribution (SD) of globular cluster (GC) systems has not been well known. We calculate the evolution of hundreds of GCs with different initial cluster conditions using the most advanced and realistic Fokker-Planck model, and search a wide-parameter space for the best-fit initial GC MF and SD that evolves into the observed present-day Galactic GC MF and SD. We find that a Gaussian distribution of half-mass radius and a Gaussian distribution of half-mass density are the best initial SD models, and that the typical initial projected half-light radius is ~5 pc, which is about twice larger than the present-day value.
