Title:Order and Chaos in the Hubble Diagram: Normal Spiral Galaxies Abstract: Using a reallistic steady model for spiral arms and background analytical potentials, we produce a series of models for disk galaxies, including the effect of flocculency of the spiral arms motivated on infrared and optical observations of the stellar dynamics. We compare the classic cosine model for the spiral arms (generally used for the Milky Way, in particular) with our model finding substantial differences. With this models, we find interesting observational restrictions based on chaos and order such as the pitch angle for spirals.
