Reducing Science Data

For frames taken without chopping, the basic steps are similar to those used for data taken in the SW arm:

• Dark subtraction
• Ghost removal *
• Non-linearity correction *
• Flat Fielding
• Sky subtraction
• Registration and stacking

For frames taken with chopping, the basic steps are:

• Ghost removal *
• Non-linearity correction *
• Flat Fielding
• A-B Subtraction
• Registration and stacking

Steps that are marked with an asterisk have not been thoroughly tested.
