The basic steps in reducing SW imaging data are:
- Removal of the odd-even column effect.
- Ghost removal
- Dark subtraction (*)
- Flat Fielding (*)
- Illumination Correction
- Flagging bad pixels, removing vignetted regions. (*)
- Sky subtraction (*)
- Removing the 50 Hz pickup
- Registration and stacking (*)
- Removal of residual bias variations (*)
