Paranal - Call for Proposals for Period 95
The European Southern Observatory (ESO) invites proposals for observations at ESO telescopes during
Period 95 (1 April 2015 - 30 September 2015).
This section provides tables of the Paranal instruments and facilities offered for observations during Period 94, with their main functionalities given in the Instruments Summary Table.
This section also lists the recent changes to Paranal instrument and facilities since periods 92 and 93 as well as the changes foreseen in the coming periods; please refer to the Call for Proposals for Period 95 for other changes (policy, etc..) relevant for observations with ESO telescopes. Finally, a quick look table provides the estimated overheads for each instrument.
Please refer to the Call for Proposals for Period 92 for instruments offered in Period 93, relevant for DDT proposals during P93, and to the Call for Proposals for Period 94 for instruments offered in Period 94, relevant for DDT proposals during P94. However, note that CRIRES is taken out of operations as of July 17th, 2014 and that NACO is expected to enter in operations only on September 12th, 2014.
