OB ID OB Name Exposure Time Execution Time Brightest Source ?????? M17disk_IFU_K_100 00:??:00.000 01:00:00.000 K=13.3 ?????? M17disk_IFU_K_250 00:??:00.000 01:00:00.000 K=13.3 The first OB, using SPIFFI's 100 mas camera (FOV = 3.2" x 3.2"), should be executed repeatedly during several SV nights (i.e., 1-2 times per night), to investigate the time variability of both continuum and lines due to ongoing accretion processes. The second OB, using SPIFFI's 250 mas camera (FOV = 8" x 8"), observes a small mosaic (3x3 dither pattern; 5"-6" offsets) centered on the science target and should be executed only once. Both OBs use the following AO reference source: SAO161357 , RA = 18:20:27.64 , DEC = -16:12:01.1 ; V=9.7, J=6.9, H=6.0, K=5.8, L=5.7, M=5.5 . SAO161357 is located at a distance of 21.3" towards the east of the science target (see Finding Chart for the M17disk). DITs and NDITs need to be adjusted during source acquisiton. Approved Waiver Request Summary ------------------------------- There is no waiver request. Critical Observing Condition Constraints ---------------------------------------- There are no critical observing condition constraints apart from those specified in the OBs. Time Critical Aspects --------------------- There are no time critical aspects. Special Calibration Information ------------------------------- There are no special calibration information. ToO Information --------------- This is not a ToO programme. Pre-Imaging Requirements ------------------------ No pre-imaging is required for this programme. Source of preimaging: Not applicable OB Information ============== List of Science OBs ------------------- (for ISAAC imaging, please indicate the magnitude of the brightest star in the field for each OB) Total Number of Submitted Science OBs: 2 Total Number of Submitted Finding Charts: 1 OB ID OB Name Associated Finding Charts Brightest Source ?????? M17disk_IFU_K_250 SINFONI_SV_FC-M17disk.jpg K=13.3 Please note that there is a bright source (the AO reference source; V=9.7, J=6.9, H=6.0, K=5.8, L=5.7, M=5.5) at a distance of 21.3 arcsec towards the east of the science target (see Finding Chart for the M17disk). This source is located well outside the FOV of SPIFFI's 100 mas and 250 mas cameras. List of Calibration OBs with Associated Science OBs --------------------------------------------------- Total Number of Submitted Calibration OBs: 0 OB Compliance Checks ==================== (Y = Yes, N = No, NA = Not Applicable) Do all your OBs comply with the instrument specific requirements listed on the instrument specific Phase 2 Web pages ? [Y] Do all your Finding Charts comply with the both the general and instrument-specific finding chart requirements? [Y] If you submitted OBs for standard stars, did you specify the magnitude and spectral type of all standard stars ? [NA] Have you included OBs for any calibrations that you need but which are not a part of the Calibration Plan? [NA] [FORS only] Do all your FORS OBs use only the allowed detector read-out modes listed on the FORS1/FORS2 Phase 2 Web pages? [NA] [FORS only] Do all your FORS MOS/LSS OBs contain the mandatory "through-slit image" template? [NA] [UVES only] Do all your UVES OBs use only the allowed templates listed on the UVES Phase 2 Web pages ? [NA] [ISAAC only] Did you indicate the magnitude of the brightest star in the field for ISAAC imaging observations? [NA] [ISAAC only] If you submitted OBs for standard stars, did you use the provided StandardStar templates? [NA] [FLAMES only] Did you specify the hour angle range for which your Target Setup files are valid ? [NA] [VIMOS only] Did you specify suitable guide stars for all your OBs using Guidecam? [Y/N/NA] [VIMOS only] Did you check that the chosen guide stars are suitable for all the offset positions and that they do not produce unacceptable vignetting of the field of view? [NA] If you answered "NO" to any of these questions, please revise your OBs *before* submission.
