Time-lapse Video of VISTA at Work (Part One)

This time-lapse sequence was taken using a fixed commercial digital camera mounted on the VISTA observing floor and facing out through the opening in the dome whilst the telescope was observing. VISTA itself is at the lower left. The Moon is visible at times shining into the dome and brightening the sky. At the end of the sequence the Large Magellanic Cloud is framed in the dome opening.
