ALMA's 9th antenna takes its position at the AOS
The ALMA transporter Lore arrives at the Array Operations Site (AOS), located at an altitude of 5000 metres on the Chajnantor plateau. Here, the 28-wheel vehicle is ready to position the 9th ALMA antenna on the chosen foundation pad. This operation took place on 12 December 2010.
