Zodiacal light at Paranal
The Moon is rising, with zodiacal light shining on top of it, in the breathtaking framework of ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) observatory on Cerro Paranal. One of the four 8.2-metre VLT Unit Telescopes, along with one of the four 1.8-metre Auxiliary Telescopes, is visible to the right.
