Colourful clouds

Two of the four Auxiliary Telescopes (ATs) stand under a burst of vivid colours in the sky over Cerro Paranal, in northern Chile. The four ATs are 1.8m diameter telescopes that, together with the four 8.2-m Unit Telescopes (UTs), constitute the Very Large Telescope (VLT) array at ESO's Paranal Observatory.
