Prof. Adriaan Blaauw visits Paranal Observatory
Prof. Adriaan Blaauw, the second of ESO´s Director Generals (1970-1974), visited ESO sites in Chile on February 2010, at an age of 94 years. Here in this picture, Prof. Blaauw visits the VLT, accompanied by the Director of the La Silla Paranal Observatory, Andreas Kaufer.
