Mining exhibition at the Museum of the Atacama Desert

The exhibition “Miner Man” is one of the five permanent exhibitions at the Museum of the Atacama Desert (MDA), in Antofagasta (II Region of Chile). The MDA, officially inaugurated on 25 May 2010, also includes permanent exhibitions on geology and astronomy, as well as other impressive collections. The astronomy exhibition, titled “A Window to the Universe” was designed and donated by ESO as a contribution to the Region of Antofagasta.
