APEX under dark blue skies
The 12-metre dish of the ESO operated Atacama Pathfinder Experiment (APEX) telescope points towards the cosmos under dark blue skies covering Chajnantor Plateau in northern Chile. The site also hosts the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA).
