ALMA at sunset

The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) comprises 66 high-precision antennas, spread over the Chanjnantor Plateau in the Atacama desert. Here, just one of the antennas can be seen observing alone, under the burnt-orange Chilean sky.
