A VLT/FORS1 spectrum of a Type II Quasar

The optical spectrum of the distant Type II Quasar CXOCDFS J033229.9 -275106 in the Chandra Deep Field South (CDFS), obtained with the FORS1 multi-mode instrument at VLT ANTU. Strong, redshifted emission lines of Hydrogen and ionised Helium, Oxygen, Nitrogen and Carbon are marked.
