Building La Silla Observatory
View of the ridge of La Silla mountain, looking toward the southeast. Besides the three middle sized telescope, the hilltop on the right was already flattened, ready for the ESO 3.6-metre Telescope. On its left, is the current NTT site. This picture was taken around 1970.
