Building the ESO 3.6-metre telescope
The truck transporting the blank for the ESO 3.6-metre telescope arrives at the REOSC workshop at Ballainvilliers, near Paris, in 1967. The ESO 3.6-metre telescope was inaugurated at La Silla in 1976.
