Full Moon over the Atacama
The Chilean Atacama desert hosts numerous mountains and peaks amongst the barren terrain, many of which are shown in this extensive panorama of the rust-tinted landscape. A full Moon reveals the many lunar maria which dominate its Earth-facing side.
