ESO exhibition in Taltal

Children look at the ALMA scale model, which is part of the ESO exhibition at the Fair of Industry, Gastronomy and Handcraft (MIGA) in Taltal, in July 2007. The MIGA was part of the celebrations for the 149th anniversary of Taltal, the closest town to ESO's Paranal Observatory. Since the beginning of the construction of the Very Large Telescope, the Municipality of Taltal and ESO have maintained a fruitful cooperation.
