Snow-covered Vitacura premises
The garden and the satellite building at ESO’s Vitacura premises, in Santiago de Chile, after an unusual snowfall, in winter 2006. Snowfalls in winter time are very common in the mountains close to Santiago, but are hardly ever seen in the city.
