Armazones in 3D
The site for the upcoming Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) is the Cerro Armazones mountain in Chile. The mountain's peak has been flattened and vital road systems built as a precursor to the full construction. The ELT will be the largest optical/near-infrared telescope in the world.
With some special red/blue glasses, you can now see the Armazones site in 3D.
