APEX Sequitor Base
View of the Atacama Pathfinder Experiment (APEX) Sequitor Base in the Chilean Andes. APEX is a collaboration between the Max Planck Institut für Radioastronomie, Onsala Space Observatory (OSO) and ESO. The telescope was manufactured by VERTEX Antennentechnik in Duisburg, Germany. Astronomers observing with APEX can see cold dust and gas in both the Milky Way and in distant galaxies
