Paranal VLTI Lab

Inside the Very Large Telescope Interferometry (VLTI) laboratory at Paranal. By linking up the light collected from two or three telescopes at a time, astronomers can see details up to 25 times finer than with the individual telescopes on site. Equipment here includes beam splitters and computers.
