3 GETTING STARTED

People with little or no experience with instrumentation software or who have never installed an instrument based in the common instrumentation software (Base ICS, BOSS), are encouraged to read the Getting Started chapter in [24] and/or [25] and to follow the Demo Session described there. To see how to start/stop the test instrument, follow the instructions of the next chapter in this document.

Advanced users or developers who already know how the common instrumentation software works can skip this.
