1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 PURPOSE

This document is the user manual for the slx module. It describes how to use the various subroutines and utilities provided by the module, and it explains various concepts in connection with set-up files, and set-up related files.

Note that a C++ library, OSLX, exists, which provides a larger set of features and should be used whenever possible rather than SLX. OSLX also provides a CCS server process providing the various features for handling the INS files on a command basis.
