1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Purpose

This document is the User Manual of the driver for the NET01 ethernet interface board. This VMEbus card is produced by N.A.T. GmbH, St. Augustin, and has been standardized by ESO for LCU applications requiring multiple ethernet connections.

The NET01 driver is provided by the manufacturer, and is incorporated into the VLT-standard module net01.

The manual assumes that the reader is familiar with networking in the VxWorks operating system.
