Linux installation

After the complete FEB2007 installation with the DVD :

• The first time you want to connect from the login screen to a different user than root, please select the type of session (ex : Xfce)

• For the external consortia only :

During the installation the file /etc/auto_staging is created with references to ESO machines. So this should be commented out from the file /etc/auto_master.

To perform this you can run as root the following script : auto.sh
