The exposure level in CRIRES flats can vary significantly because of the variability of the halogen lamp. Flats for science data should not exceed 10000 ADUs. Please note that detectors 1 and 4 of the 1090.4 nm setting suffer from vignetting and contamination from adjacent orders. Flux level and and visual appearance can vary from one day to the other.
